Happy Birthday Kimmy!

Well today is Zac's favorite aunt Kimmy's birthday. We went to Watonga to celebrate and had a nice time. It has been a while since we had seen the family and it was a great time.

The nursery is well on its way; pictures to follow next weekend. We are about 1/2 coat of paint left to make it complete, then we can start placing the furniture. I have to paint the changing table and side table, a shelf and an easel and it should be smooth sailing!

EXCITING news has happened - our dear friends Jon and Chelsey have signed up for adoption, and they are welcoming their son, London Harvey, November 8th! Yea, London! CAN'T wait to meet him!

Have a great week! Amy

T Minus 10 Weeks

Well, Mistletoe Market is over and now it is TIME to focus on the nursery! The birthmother is due in less than 10 weeks (and I just know she is coming early). PANIC has set in! I have a TON to do! I cannot believe how close we are... this is nuts!

Here is the good news... We have officially narrowed Baby Girl Bradt's name down to 1out of 8. That is a HUGE improvement from 28, which is we were at on Saturday night. It is so hard to name a girl! Here is another issue with the girl, clothes! I am starting to think that I am the only person on the planet that does not like frilly, feathery clothes and bows! YUCK! I keep telling people, I like baby clothes that look like something that I would wear, so leopard ruffled pants are out. ;) I know, I know, I need to get over it. Surely I will, right? ~Amy

It's a WHAT???

So we had our big reveal party Wednesday night. My dear friend Chelsey, helped make the party lovely.

We were so excited for the party and had all of our close friends and family join in for pizza, fun, and PINK cake! YES! I said it... PINK!

WE ARE HAVING A GIRL!!!!! I can barely handle it! I just knew it was a boy. Had his name picked out, the colors of his nursery ready, and then BOOM! GIRL! My mother-in-law was so excited, and I am excited for her, because she needs a girl. We had a cute sign when you walked in, and you signed your name next to what you thought it was. The boy's list was BY FAR longer than the girl's.

So cute, so fun, so pink. I need to get my mind situated on this and start preparing for little drama! ~Amy
