Is It Bad That We Haven't Unpacked?!?

We are busy people, I'm am just going to have to deal with it. Lately though, it has been out of control. If I am tired, imagine how my husband feels....

Junior League started back this week, so we are preparing for our Christmas shopping extravaganza. I can't wait. Our market is always a lot of fun. On top of that, we had the Zac Brown Band concert. I really like him; he is really talented. Here's what I don't like, giving rednecks over 4 hours to drink before you perform. The doors opened at 5:30, so we got there to ensure we got a good seat. ZBB didn't get on stage until almost 9:30. That gave all the WT 4 hours to get WASTED before the concert. At $8/beer, I am surprised they could afford it. Maybe it is like the State Fair, and they save up all year long to go?!? Who knows. Lucky for me, the girl sitting right next to me was at least 6 months pregnant and chain smoking. Really? Glad she can get pregnant.... You know she has a couple of other children at home, too. Sick. I was so angry I finally said to my husband, "Well, maybe I should just start smoking meth, and then I will get pregnant." (Brian chipped in that if I did smoke meth, I would end up having 10 kids. You know, those people can't stop repopulating our earth.) Anyway, Z's answer to it was, "Well, you have always said you wanted veneers.... that's a good way to get rid of you teeth!" HOT MESS. So after the pregnant WT, we met this fine Oklahoman: He was soooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo drunk. (Yes, that many o's were necessary). He was drunk at 6pm. Well, wasted really... So as any good redneck would do, he continued to drink. He was wobbling, had his hat on sideways, laid down and passed out for a few minutes, almost hit his girlfriend, and my personal favorite tackled a funnel cake like a champ and then sat still while we all waited for him to puke. (Luckily for us, it never happened). Jaime turned to us and said, "Watch he will be the moron that stands up and yells." Well, not 5 minutes after she said that, I got the picture posted above as he was yelling, "Zac Brown, you are the *&%$@& man!" (P.S. The concert hadn't even started). When he was really starting to get on my nerves, the people in front of me had enough. The wife started yelling at him and then he tripped and almost fell on the husband. Thankfully, his girlfriend decided to take him home before the concert even started...

Then, yesterday we got to babysit little Peyton. Look at how cute she is with all her hair:We had so much fun with her, she is such a good baby. We went shopping, went for a car ride, and then had a "blowout". That is the only term that describes what happened. I have never in my life seen so much yuckiness come out of something so precious. Regardless, we loved every minute, and almost thought about kidnapping her... ;) Her mother tried to pay us for watching her, but I told her PLEASE! She was doing us a favor! So much fun.

Then it was off to Stillwater to see Z's team play. I only have one shirt that is OSU related. I just really don't like orange on me. It takes a special coloring to pull off orange. I wish they were a different color, I would be more likely to buy stuff... Anyway, I wore my traditional black and white but wanted to find something orange to accent. I went to a store called Rhinestone Cowgirl on campus and found this cute necklace:

Yeah, it's kinda' hard to see, but it is a ton of cloth flowers sewed together. Don't worry, I'm sure I will wear it to every other game!
So needless to say, our suitcase is still packed. Today, 12 days after we have been back, I am determined to unpack our bags! Have a great week! ~Amy
