So today, June 17th, is the first day of our "In-vitro, part deux." Starting today we will be blogging daily of our adventure. Everyone who knows me, knows I am into signs... well 17 is my lucky number. What a day to start! We have decided that we will do shots at 8pm, instead of 7pm like last time. I know... rebels.... As we are blogging right now, we are listening to Adele, who is one of our favorite artists! I have hooked my husband on music. I truly believe a good song can brighten any sad moment! Music has always been a crutch for me and now him too! He needs something really positive right now, in fact, because the hot weather has got him in a CRANKY mood!! We would be happiest in a colder climate, or the tropics, but when the weather is hot and all you have is flat land to look at, awful! (Just a FYI... Southern Girl by Amos Lee is his new favorite, so he is getting in a better mood!)
I am really worn out today! I had to host a bridal shower for my friend, Sandra, at the last minute. She decided to get married this Saturday, last week. No, she is not pregnant. She is Mexican and having her traditional, Catholic wedding there in December. The US does not consider religious Mexican weddings a civil, legal wedding, so they have to marry here in the US as well. They were just planning on going to the Justice of the Peace once they were married, spiritually, in December, but her mother is in town from Mexico and they thought it would be nice to do it with an actual family witness. Nonetheless, they have planned a wedding in less than 10 days. It will be lovely! Well... except for the cake... my friend Melanie and I are going to make it... Pray for us! ;)
We are headed over to my mother's house for dinner tonight. We will have to hurry home because, I need to watch So You Think You Can Dance!
Everybody on their knees! We need all the help we can get!
