Also today, I took one of those cheesy Facebook quizzes. This one made me smile. Here are the results:
Amy took the Which Famous Historical Couple Are You? quiz and the result is John and Abigal Adams
A strong relationship based upon more than looks, you enjoy your partner's mind very much. You both have a strong political mind, and have an influence on those around you. The connection you share was written by a higher power. When you leave the party, people will be thinking you two are a match made in heaven.

I love that it says that the connection we share was written by a higher power. We have always felt that God brought us together... It had to be him, because we were too opposite to cross paths on our own!
My evening tonight consisted of me and Melanie completing the wedding cake for our friend. Now, again, this is a SMALL wedding before their actual ceremony in Mexico. Here it is... My first, and last, 3-tiered cake!
We used bright Gerbera daisies, because she loves them, and since the cake was slightly leaning, we overdosed it with flowers. Whimsical. That is the word to describe it. Whimsical.Tonight's shot went really well. It was kind of a blur because my husband just got home with Pei Wei, Melanie and I were covered in powdered sugar and icing, and we were 10 minutes overdue. I basically turned around, cleaned the skin, and turned right back around to cake making. That is the one thing that I cannot stand about this first shot. It is high maintenance. It has to be administered at a certain temperature. We are going to have to miss an anniversary party that we were invited to because of it. The time of the party vs. the time of the shot, will just not work out. We waited until the last minute to back out, which I feel bad about, but I kept trying to think of ways to make it work. Ice in a cooler, one of those freezer bags, but then he was concerned about what to do with the medicine after the shot and on the way home. Just too much to worry about. Next time.
Which brings me to my thankful blurb of the day. I am thankful that we are able to do this again. As much of a pain in the rear it can be, and as emotional as it is, we have great support to help us achieve it. So many people never have this opportunity, I will be forever grateful.
My husband will probably have to blog tomorrow, I will be WARN OUT from my non-stop day!
