Day Two Hundred and Twelve: Picture Idea

I want to take a picture of Jude in this pose:

I think I could make him the stem of the "d". I wonder if I can pull it off?

Day Two Hundred and Eleven: Olympics Mania

Jude loves the Olympics!

Day Two Hundred and Ten: Happy 75th Loretta!

My husband's aunt Loretta celebrated her 75th birthday on Saturday and we went to the celebration. It was nice to see family we rarely see. Little man stole the show as always, smiling, laughing, and just being his CUTE self! I can't wait until I can show his face....

Day Two Hundred and Nine: Yucky

So Friday night me and some friends happy hour'd at a wine tasting in downtown Oklahoma City. All I am going to say is, there is a reason Oklahoma isn't known as a prime region for vineyards.... Yuck!

Day Two Hundred and Eight: Balding, at 3 Months

What happened to all of my cutie's hair? He is balding, George Costanza style...

Day Two Hundred and Seven: Sleeping Buddies

After I picked up Jude from Chelsey Wednesday, we decided to have lunch and run some errands. Since Chelsey's car is in the shop from hail and her rental is HORRIBLE, I told her to jump in with me. Little buddies... They play hard and sleep hard in UNISON!

Day Two Hundred and Six: Kids Grow Quickly

Tuesday, we met Jami and her kiddos for lunch. First of all, her daughter will be in middle school next year which creeps me out. Here is a picture of her and Jude (she was our little flower girl). Amazing. People always say, "they grow so fast.." and I was like "Yeah, I know... Blah, blah, blah" but MAN! They grow so quickly!

Day Two Hundred and Five: Preparing for School!

Jude starts his new school in less than a month! In order to get him prepared, I have to have labels to put on all of his bottles, food, clothes, etc... I found this cute labels online at Inchbug (but obviously not in pink) and I cannot wait to see them! So cute! Our little guy is growing up! :)

Day Two Hundred and Four: Shalom! Mazel! L'Chaim!

Today was a very special day for our friend Esther. She had her Simchat Bat (or in English, her baby naming ceremony). People of the Jewish faith do this for their daughters to welcome them to their faith. (Comparable to a Christening in the Christian faith) It was a lovely ceremony and Jude did well. We brought a bottle to feed him, and he was excellent until he needed to burp... Whoops... Leave it to my son to burp RIGHT as the Temple got quiet. He acted like he was so proud of himself afterwards, smiling and flirting with the people behind us; everyone thought it was cute. Afterwards they had a brunch with an omelet bar, desserts, mimosas, and everything else you could ask for catered by Deep Fork. Delish!

So, Mazel Tov Esther ~ or in Hebrew Hadassah!

Day Two Hundred and Three: Meeting a New Cousin!

Saturday morning we went and had lunch with my cousin Brooke. She couldn't make the Thomas family reunion because she was on a 3 week European vacation................. JEALOUS................

Anyway, Jude and Brook got along famously, as expected!

Day Two Hundred and Two: A Little Surprise!

So, as we all know, I love Groupon. While going through my purchased deals, I found this:
A Groupon for a wine tasting in OKC! Do you see the expiration date? Good thing I found it! Me and the girls are going Friday night!!

Day Two Hundred and One: HELP!

I have officially outgrown my house! UGH!!!!! As I was attempting to go through this:

(The dining room with gifts for Jude I still have not opened or gone through...we are so blessed) I found a stack of cards for gifts I still have not written thank you's for! So, if you STILL have not received a thank you... I AM SOOOOO SORRY! This is so out of character for me!

Day Two Hundred: My Son has an ADDICTION!

OK... first of all Jude is NOT ALLOWED to watch TV. There is no point at this age. Therefore, his Mamaroo, play mat, and all other toys face the kitchen. HOWEVER, he will literally try and break his neck to see it. What to do, what to do....

Day One Hundred and Ninety Nine: BFF's

With Chelsey watching Jude Mon-Wed, it gives us a chance to catch up, or have lunch, or do a little shopping together in the afternoons. Today, we went to Target and Panera and the little dudes just tagged along. The love each other!
We laugh because Jude and London are 5 1/2 months apart. Jude is the same length as Lundy, AND only 5 pounds less. WHAT?? London is normal for his size, we have a GIANT! :) LOVE!

Day One Hundred and Ninety Eight: USA! USA! USA!

My husband's good friend is a JAG attorney for the US Air Force. He was stationed in Altus, but now in Afghanistan. He left right before we got Jude, so he never met him. I am making a care package to send overseas, and thought I would include this in it:

Day One Hundred and Ninety Seven: SWIMMING!

Jude went swimming for the first time on Sunday and he LOVED LOVED LOVED it! He is definitely a water baby. He loved it so much, that my husband and I have decided our next home will have a pool. How fun for him and his friends! Check out this darling picture!

Day One Hundred and Ninety Six: Sears FLOP

So going to Sears to get pictures done, I wasn't expecting much. He is only 3 months, and I really just wanted one decent shot... There was a Groupon, Dang It! I am a sucker for them! Even though I will probably never go back, we got one decent pic:

(Sucks you can't see it....)

Day One Hundred and Ninety Five: BIG Boy!

Jude is trying so hard to be the biggest boy possible. He is holding his head up, trying to push off of us to move, and now this:

Heaven help us; he is 3 months going on 2! :)

Day One Hundred and Ninety Four: BIG BROTHER!

Well, our summer is now officially starting because Thursday night was the start of Big Brother! We are ADDICTS!

Day One Hundred and Ninety Three: Thunder...

So our dog is TERRIFIED of thunder. Yesterday afternoon, it was thundering for no reason... we didn't even get a DROP of rain! Anyway, I was rocking Jude and he fell asleep. We were just sitting there snuggling when a HUGE clap of thunder came and Bo FREAKED out and jumped onto my lap, sat on Jude (who didn't even budge) and that is how I spent the afternoon. I had to take a picture from my view and text it to my husband. Here it is:

Day One Hundred and Ninety Two: Day at Work with Mommy!

Tuesday, Chelsey had to go to Dallas for a makeup event, so Jude came to work with mommy! He was a HIT! EVERYONE said that he is the cutest baby they have ever seen, and they are right. There is no way that my husband and I could have created this cuteness. Seriously... I challenge anyone to a cuter baby. Also, everyone commented on how well behaved he was and he was a SUPER flirt with the ladies....

He is our precious, precious gift!

Day One Hundred and Ninety One: New Toy!

Jude got this gift from one of his mmmmaaaannnnnnyyyyy friends:

He loves to lie on it and kick. It is hilarious. Sometimes he will turn his head up and look back to make sure his "friend" (the giraffe's head) is still there!

Day One Hundred and Ninety: MAGIC Mike

Sunday night, I had a girls night out to the movies to see Magic Mike. Everyone knows I love Channing Tatum, but wow... Do I love him now! ;)

The movie was decent, but get real... Nobody goes for the plot...

Day One Hundred and Eighty Nine: LAZY day Saturday

Saturday we did not get out of our PJ's. The whole family just had a lazy day and we loved it. It's funny how now that Jude is sleeping a little better, we are more tired! Someone told me "your body remembers what it feels like to sleep and wants it back."

We rented, per my mother's recommendation Big Miracle. It was so good! I am glad we did! (No offense, but usually her recommendations make you want your money back...) It is a great family movie! Check it out!

Day One Hundred and Eighty Eight: Happy Birthday Angie!

Yesterday was one of my friends' 35th birthday! We got together to celebrate the big 3-5. Welcome to your MID-THIRTIES, girl! I found this picture of all of us at her 30th birthday, and remembered how we could not believe we were 30. Time FLIES!

Day One Hundred and Eighty Seven: Daddy Day + Frustration

I had to work a 1/2 day on the 5th so my husband took a day off to spend with Jude. HE EVEN CHANGED HIS FIRST POOP PANTS WITHOUT MOMMY! Miracle! When I got home, they were still in the same chair that I left them in, no baths, and in their pajamas.....

Thinking of my husband and Jude, I remembered this picture:
This was taken when he was 3 days old. :( Time flies. We also hit a bit of a road bump with the adoption. Nothing to worry about, just some medical bills that are surfacing that we hadn't seen before. We have to agree on an amount, have the judge approve it, and then we can have our finalization hearing... A little more of a delay. Maybe early to mid August? PLEASE?

One Hundred and Eighty Six: Jude's First Fourth

Happy FIRST Fourth of July, sweet baby boy! In honor of his day my mother (Tutu) got him his own cake. Spoiled, spoiled, spoiled.... :)
We spent the day at my husband's grandparents in Thomas. A great way to celebrate America's birthday!

Day One Hundred and Eighty Five: Little, Little Baby Girl

Tuesday, we went over and met a new edition to our friends' family. She is the LITTLEST. THING. EVER. It is insane. Jude was never as small as Hadli, and she has the most delicate little features. Definitely a sweet baby girl.
Look at her cheeks! So cute.

Day One Hundred and Eighty Four: Washcloths

OK.... We all know that I love Aden and Anais products, but these are the REAL DEAL. If you have a baby or toddler (or really even for yourself) order them NOW. They are the BEST thing EVER!
I scoured Oklahoma City for them, and finally found them at Storkland. Thank goodness!!

Day One Hundred and Eighty Three: Road Trip Home

We were sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo tired on the way home. It was the longest 4 hours ever. We are still tired. Besides the exhaustion of Jude, look at the damage we did:

ALL. FOR. JUDE.... Our spoiled, spoiled, spoiled, spoiled blessing....

Well, actually, there are gifts in there that Jude bought for his new friend Hadli who was born Friday!
Welcome to the world, Hadli!

Day One Hundred and Eighty Two: Carter & Ashley's Wedding!

Saturday, Jude was off-and-on. He was happy, then he would cry. He was fidgeting and then he peed all over Zac... just weird. We planned on having my friend Melodie watch him while we went to the wedding, but her son was really sick. It was a blessing in disguise because Jude FREAKED OUT Saturday night. Like the WORST he has ever been. Screaming, screaming, screaming, we still don't know why. Finally after a while in the hotel he calmed down. Saturday night we decided Jude might be an only child.... ;)

Day One Hundred and Eighty One: Texas or Bust

Friday, we made a roadtrip to Texas for a friend's wedding. We spent all day Friday shopping at Northpark and got some DARLING clothes for Jude that you cannot find in Oklahoma. He is so happy when he is shopping! (Just imagine you see his face!)

Day One Hundred and Eighty: Tutu's Birthday!

Thursday night we celebrated my mother's first birthday as a grandmother! We had wings and mini bundt cakes and just hung out around the house. Jude made her a special gift, and I think that is all she cared about! ;) Happy Birthday, Tutu! We love you!
