Day Three Hundred and Nine: It's the MOST Wonderful Time of the Year!

Everyone knows the Bradts LOVE Christmas! This Christmas will be the BEST ONE YET!!! We can't wait to spend it with our little man! We went Saturday to have our professional pictures taken for our annual card. Fun little side story... Shortly after we got married... 2 months to be exact... we found out we were pregnant. On September 11th (not kidding on the date) I had my first miscarriage. At the time, we were not worried because my husband just started law school, and we had only been married for 4 months. After Christmas we went to Old Navy that year and found this hilarious reindeer outfit for a baby. We bought it because it was literally $0.99 and thought one day when we have a kiddo, he/she could wear it. Well looonggg story short, through all the pregnancies and failed adoption, our baby(ies) would never have been able to wear it due to the timing and size. Well guess who can? Yep, Jude! Tell me there isn't a God! This was the little man that was supposed to be OUR son.
I love this child.

Day Three Hundred and Eight: Concussion

So, I forgot to mention that on Halloween night, my husband got into the cabinets above the fridge to get me a pitcher. I have a huge Le Creuset bowl up there that I put my onions, garlic, potatoes, etc. in. Well, he forgot to push it back all the way, so about 30 minutes later when I opened the doors, it fell on my head and then shattered. This bowl weighs (with the onions and potatoes in it) about 40 pounds. I immediately felt sick to my stomach, and was dizzy. Thursday and Friday I was naseous and saw spots. I am 100% convinced that I had a concussion. The nurses told me if I wasn't better by Saturday, I needed to go to the Minor ER. Luckily after some R&R Friday night, I was ok. My poor husband. He felt soooooo bad.... I couldn't even tease him, he was so sad. Luckily, all is good...except my bowl...

Day Three Hundred and Seven: Book Club

Thursday, I hosted book club at my house. We read The Perks of Being a Wallflower. It wasn't too bad... the cinammon infused mulled sangria was better! :)

Day Three Hundred and Six: HAPPY 1ST HALLOWEEN!

Wednesday was Jude's 1st Halloween and he was a happy little turkey! He is so flipping cute. Gosh! We are blessed!

As you can see, he isn't sitting up very well... and he was tired from all the festivities! Ha!

Day Three Hundred and Five: Kenneth

Everyone knows how much I love my husband's grandfather. He is a close second to my own. He is such a great man, and a role model for everyone he meets. Tuesday, we got a DARLING Happy 1st Halloween card in the mail from Grandma & Grandpa for Jude. It was awesome. Look how slick he is with his new car! Love this man.

Day Three Hundred and Four: Air Purifier

I want to get an air purifier... Mainly to have clean (dog hair free) air for the Toots... Any thoughts?

Day Three Hundred and Three: Happy Birthday Kimmy!

Aunt Kimmy's birthday is on the 30th, so we all got together at my in-laws to celebrate last Sunday.
Happy Birthday! Jude loves his Aunt Kimmy!
