A New Baby, Bedlam, Some Turkey, A Tree, It's Been Busy...

First and foremost, the most important thing: Baby Jestyn is here!!

(I made Z take a picture of the baby ONLY b/c we got to the hospital Sunday morning, and I was without make-up and dirty hair...) Isn't she sweet! Congratulations, Jenkins!

This Thanksgiving, like last, we spent with my Aunt Jan. We had a great time. Bo (our dog) found a girlfriend in my aunt's dog, Jessie. He did really well, I was impressed. Also, we got to meet Baby Lola for the first time, and she is precious. See for your self:

Then, mom and I got a picture together, which is rare these days!

After arriving home at about 1:30am Saturday morning, we went to bed to wake up hours later and prepare for Bedlam. BOOMER SOONER! We had a fun time, but sleep deprivation + Amy= disaster. Here are pictures of some of our favorite OSU people:

Then Sunday, we went and got our living room tree. I say living room tree, because this year, I think we will have 5 trees.... Whoops.... Our living room tree is the only real tree, the rest are artificial. Like true Griswolds! That, however, I will save for my next blog entry. There are too many trees to put in this blog (especially with this SLOW computer!) ~Amy

Happy Birthday Debby!

Today, Debby had a milestone birthday! This little girl:

turned...... I can't say. But it is a reason to celebrate, and celebrate is what we did on Saturday! I hosted a surprise party for Deb and her friends at Paint Your Art Out, and then we went to Inspirations Tea Room for lunch. What a great time, and look at the artists!!!

Happy (blank) Birthday, Mom! We love you! ~Zac and Amy

Ray Lamontagne is My Hero

This man is amazing. He is the reason we drove 4 hours one way on a work night, the reason we only had 3 hours of sleep in between workdays, and the #2 reason (besides my husband) I got through 2 back-to-back failed in-vitros without locking myself in my bedroom for 6 months. Music moves me; it always has and always will, and Ray could be hands down one of the most talented musicians to walk this earth. If you haven't fallen in love with him yet, try him out... I bet you will! ~Amy

Straight No Chaser- I'll Chase You!

So last night I took my mother to the Straight No Chaser concert. I have to admit, at first I was a little skeptical about what to expect. I was afraid it was going to be super cheesy. Well, I was so wrong! It was amazing! They were funny, talented, humble, and had amazing talent. If they ever come to a city near you, go see them!

We leave tomorrow to go see Ray Lamontagne in Dallas and I am so excited! Unfortunately, we have to work Friday, so getting home at about 3am, to leave my house at 7am for work doesn't sound so fun; but Ray is totally worth it! ~Amy

Happy Birthday Aunt Jan!

Children are Growing Up WAY to Fast

This year for Halloween, we decided to be Snooki (from Jersey Shore) and Alan (from the Hangover). It was hilarious. My husband's costume was so spot-on, that everywhere we went, people wanted pictures. Here, see for yourself:

It was really funny...

Here is what was NOT funny- We decided to answer the door for the trick-or-treaters at our friend's house. The children that were asking for candy could identify who we were!!! Not the middle-schoolers, the little ones! We were appalled! What I want to know is what mother out there is letting their 4-8 year olds watch Jersey Shore and/or The Hangover?!? (If you are one, you should be ashamed!) And I thought Spongebob was racy....

Happy Birthday Kimmy!

Happy November! ~Amy
